Editorial Policy
How the MeroSir blog is written, checked and corrected.
What we publish
Guides and articles for students and job seekers in Nepal: the education system, courses and colleges, exam preparation, government jobs and Loksewa, history and general knowledge, careers and study skills, in English and Nepali. Our aim is to explain things clearly so you can make better decisions and prepare better for exams.
How articles are written and checked
- Articles are drafted by the MeroSir team, using official sources (laws, government and university notices, exam syllabi) wherever possible.
- An article shows a Reviewed date once a person on our team has fact-checked it against official sources. An article without that date has not completed our review yet, so treat its details with extra care.
- Where a number can change (fees, seats, age limits, exam rules, dates) we say “around” or tell you to confirm with the official source. Please do that before relying on it.
- English and Nepali versions of an article are linked so you can read either.
Corrections and updates
If you find a mistake, tell us: use the Report button under any article (you need to be logged in), or contact us. We review reports, fix errors promptly, and update the article and its reviewed date. Facts that change over time are re-checked periodically.
Comments
Readers can comment. Comments are not edited or endorsed by MeroSir. We remove spam, abuse and anything that breaks our community guidelines, and comments reported by several readers are hidden until we review them.
Advertising and independence
Some blog pages may show ads from third parties. Advertising does not influence what we write, which articles we publish or what we recommend, and we do not accept payment to publish or change article content. Ads are shown only on blog pages, only with your consent, and are clearly labelled “Advertisement”. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
