Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MeroSir website, mobile app, and related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Sunil Kumar Yadav ("MeroSir", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Description of the Platform
MeroSir is an education platform connecting students, teachers, and educational organizations in Nepal. It offers MCQ tests, learning resources, courses, Kids Zone activities, community features, tournaments, and tools for teachers and organizations to publish and monetize educational content.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
- You must provide accurate registration information (name, email, phone) and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- MeroSir supports several account roles — student, teacher, and organization — each with features and responsibilities specific to that role.
- Kids Zone content is intended to be used by children under the supervision of, and through, a parent's, teacher's, or school's own account — not a separate account held by the child.
- You must notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. User Content and Conduct
You are responsible for any question sets, resources, reviews, community posts, or other content you upload or publish ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant MeroSir a license to host, display, and distribute it on the Platform as needed to operate the service.
You agree not to:
- Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or violates any law.
- Harass, impersonate, or abuse other users.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
- Misrepresent your identity or qualifications, particularly when applying for publisher/monetization status.
Additional rules for community features are set out in our Community Guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payments, Wallet, and Subscriptions
- All prices on the Platform are shown in Nepali Rupees (NPR).
- You can top up your in-app wallet using supported payment methods (currently eSewa and Khalti) or, where offered, an offline payment verified by an organization or platform admin.
- Wallet balance is used to purchase content, subscribe to teachers/organizations, or subscribe to a platform plan.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off, or the plan does not support self-cancellation.
- Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
5. Publisher / Monetization Program
- Students, teachers, and organizations may apply to publish paid content after submitting identity verification documents for review.
- Approved publishers earn a revenue share on paid content sold through the Platform; the platform fee percentage is disclosed in your publisher dashboard and may be updated from time to time.
- Payouts are processed on the schedule and via the methods described in your publisher dashboard.
- MeroSir may reject or revoke publisher status for accounts that violate these Terms or provide false verification information.
6. Organizations
- An organization's primary owner is responsible for that organization's account, staff, and content on the Platform.
- Primary ownership can be transferred to another administrator of the same organization; a pending transfer request requires platform admin approval before it takes effect.
- A user who owns an organization must transfer ownership before they can delete their personal MeroSir account (see Section 9).
7. Intellectual Property
The MeroSir name, logo, and platform software are the property of MeroSir and may not be used without our permission. You retain ownership of your own User Content, subject to the license you grant us in Section 3.
8. Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party services to operate — including payment providers (eSewa, Khalti) and email/SMS delivery partners for verification codes and notifications. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.
9. Suspension and Account Deletion
- We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud, or poses a risk to other users or the Platform.
- You may delete your own account at any time from the mobile app or web dashboard (Profile → Delete Account), or via merosir.com/delete-account if you no longer have the app or cannot log in. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what happens to your data when you do.
- Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and forfeits access to your wallet balance and any purchased content — it cannot be undone.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is". MeroSir does not guarantee that tests, resources, or courses will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that they guarantee any particular exam or academic result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeroSir is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Contact Us
